has the most recent iOS and Apple Maps app lost the ability to change the unit of measurement?
I prefer km, but cannot change it from miles. At about the same time the UK tries to crawl further back into the dark ages by returning to imperial measurements…

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. Though we couldn't find an official resource to help you with this question, there is a way to change from Imperial to Metric, or the other way around.
To do this, go to Settings > General > Language & Region > Measurement System. From there, you'll have the option to change to Metric, US, or UK.
