Missing green dot in astronomy

I like the new Lock Screen showing the earth detail. But my iPhone SE 2 shows a green dot indicating my location whereas the iPhone XR does not. I tried to turn on and off the location service for astronomy and restarted the iPhone. Nothing seems to work.

Location service is also on for the map and widget.

any ideas?
