Remote app loses iTunes Library connection on ios 16

I have just upgraded to IOS16 on my iPhone 13 pro. The Remote app loses connection with the 2 iTunes Library (1 Mac + 1 PC). My iPad still can connect and control the iTunes on the 2 devices.

I tried to add a media library on the Remote, the "remote" icon does not show up on the iTunes Library.

iTunes Remote Wont Connect to Mac Is there any way of debugging why iTunes Remote on my phone (iPhone 14 iOS 17.1.1) refuses to connect to Apple Music on my Mac (Mac Mini M1 MacOS Sonoma 14.1.1)? I am on the same WiFi network for both devices. Things I have tried without success: Disabling the Ethernet connection for the Mac so it's ONLY on the same WiFi as the phone. Enabling Home Sharing on both Mac and iTunes Remote. In this instance, the library appears on the iRemote app but when I try to connect it does nothing and some time later comes back with a can't connect to your library error message. Disabling Home Sharing on the iTunes Remote, forgetting all remotes in the Music app on the Mac and re-adding. In this instance I get to enter the 4-digit code on the Mac and it says success, but the iRemote app doesn't do anything and remains on the 4-digit code screen. When I go back to the library selection, the library is there, but again, will not connect with the same uninformative error message. Firewall settings on the Mac is open for incoming connections for the Music App Rebooting entire network (BT WholeHome Wi-Fi mesh), restarting Mac Mini, restarting Phone I used to periodically get this same problem a few years ago, but it always cleared itself when the Mac got rebooted, or just when it felt like working again. Now I can't get it to work at all, even returning to the problem a couple of weeks later. I've read numerous posts back over the years in this forum but the closest I can see to a solution involves turning on Home sharing and then connecting to "some other" iTunes installation before connecting back to the main one. As I don't have an other iTunes library to connect to, I seem to be out of options? Excuse the frustration, but without any helpful debug messages, I have no idea what the problem might be. Is there a way of diagnosing this better than repeatedly killing apps, enabling and disabling home sharing, forgetting remotes, re-adding remotes hoping for success? (And yes Bots, I have tried following all the steps in Set up the iTunes Remote app for Music on Mac)

Adding a library to Remote app on iOS 16 I can't seem to link my music library running on a Mac (Monterey:12.6.2) to my iPhone SE3 running iOS 16. I get a 'no libraries found' message when I launch the iPhone Remote app (iTunes Remote) and no sign of the iPhone in the libraries list when I try to manually pair the two. Home Sharing is on and I can pair the library with Remote on an old iPod running iOS12 without a problem. I also can't get the phone to pair to the same library running on another Mac on Mojave (iTunes). So this looks like an iOS 16 issue. Has anyone else come across this problem and found a solution for it?
