IOS 16 update

How to restore the Conracts icon after IOS 16 update? My Contacts icon disappeared. However, it was there when I searched for Contacts in the App Store. I scrolled to the Apps library and got the list off apps on my phone. The Contacts app was there. I pressed on it and there was a choice to add it to the Home Screen.

Contacts icon gone My contacts icon disappeared from my IPhone. App is not in utilities folder. A restart did not help, neither did ICloud syncing. Also tried software update. Contacts are not gone though: I can access them via App Store by opening the contacts app. How do I restore the icon on my screen?

Contact Icon NOT Showing up on IOS 16.2 Can only access Contacts by going to Search bar ... Icon disappeared ... no articles are helpful. Can't download it from the App Store because the app is there somewhere just not visually. It is NOT in any of the folders as I've checked every single one.

Select the choice to add it to the Home Screen.

Note that you can access Contacts through the Phone app.

Good point. I just freaked when I saw that the icon was gone.
