Importing photos

on my MacBook Pro with Mojave, Importing photos from iPhone NOT working after iOS 16 update is installed, trust this computer option is double checked I even restarted both devices with no luck, please help asap.

Check to see if you're taking the High Efficiency format photos or the More Compatible (JPEGS) format.
