Report Junk Feature iOS 16

I agree and spoke with a supervisor to express my concerns was told no way to delete this redundant step. Did not have this problem till I downloaded iOS 16. Told the sup if they will not address this I would have to go to android system. Didn’t seem to care.

At least put the report as junk below. I’ve reported many messages as junk inadvertently because it’s on top. And I don’t know if those get blocked which I don’t want blocked. Decent idea. Poor design.

Agree- Apple need to eliminate it, or allow it to be turned off- It has always been annoying that deleting a text requires 2 actions, but now we have a third. Really poor delivery of a feature a small percent of people would want.

16.1.1 - can't find any place to turn this "feature" off. I've already mis-clicked to junk. Maybe don't make the "mark as junk" button (gets used 1% of the time) the same size or right below the delete button that gets used 99% of the time?!

What do you do if you inadvertently report text as junk? Will you still receive texts from that number?

Yes- it was changed to say Delete, or Delete and mark junk. much better!
