i can't update my iphone 6

If your iPhone 6 is now running iOS 12.5.6, that is as far as it can go. You have reached the end of the update road for the iPhone.

If you want to run iOS 16, you will need a newer phone......an iPhone 8 or higher.

An iPhone 6 cannot update past iOS 12.5.6.
