Can’t link card to Apple Pay?

Can’t link my card to Apple Pay? … contacted my bank but apparently it’s a problem with my phone. Any ideas? I’ve already deleted and added my card to my wallet again. That doesn’t help. Apparently it says my card isn’t eligible. But there’s nothing wrong with it.

Hello apple_user444,

We understand that you're having an issue with adding your card to Apple Wallet to use with Apple Pay. By chance, have you tried using another card? If so, do you experience the same behavior?

To ensure that we're covering all of our bases, we'd like to provide you with a few steps that may help resolve the issue:

1. Check that you're able to use Apple Pay:
• Contact your card issuer to see if they support Apple Pay.
• Update to the latest version of iOS or iPadOSwatchOS, or macOS.
• Make sure that you are in a supported country or region.
• Check that your device is compatible with Apple Pay.

2. Check for services outages or connection issues.

3. If you see the message "Could Not Add Card" or "Invalid Card," contact your bank or card issuer.
Apple does not approve or decline cards for use with Apple Pay. If your card was declined, contact your bank or card issuer.

If you need help adding a card, learn how to set up Apple Pay.
