iPhone says AirPods Pro are not genuine

I bought my AirPods at a Mac store, checked Serial and models and Are genuine, but my iPhone after I updated it to iOS 16 says they are not genuine, I’ve reset them, reset phone, but nothing seems to work what can I do?

Seems to be a common phenomenon reported on these forums. So, provide feedback to Apple on this. Apple may not get back to you with a direct reply. But the more feedback Apple received on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - AirPods - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all started after an update. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
