Close All Apps

Why isn't there a simple shortcut to close all open apps? It seems rather cumbersome for a Hi Tech device to have to manually swipe each and every open app or use 3 fingers trying to get them to actually land on 3 separate apps to swipe all at once is the best apple can come up with for this maintenance function that is required to keep your battery from being consumed! I have the IPhone 13 Pro.

Apple decided that the need for “close all apps” was undesirable. That is, if you needed to do “close all apps” at all regularly, then the platform itself is broken. Which means making the platform manage itself, meaning you don’t have to know about and know how and when to use “close all apps”. The platform exits the apps for you, and he app developers are experienced in saving and reloading their app context without disrupting what the user wants to do.
