Timer no longer shows in lock screen ios 16

It shows on the bottom of the lock screen now, with a Stop and Pause button integrated into it...it kinda looks like a notification.

On iOS 16, the timer appears along the bottom of your iPhone display when on the Lock Screen. You can read how to use the timer here:

If you’re not seeing it on the Lock Screen, the following steps may help:

• Quit any timer that’s running.

• Lock your iPhone.

• Wake it and from the Lock Screen, ask Siri to start a timer. 

See if the timer appears on the bottom of the Lock Screen.
