Remove shadow behind app name IOS 16

Anyone know how to remove the horrible shadow behind the name of apps on the Home Screen?

Can I get rid of the drop shadow on the app’s names?? Pretty self explanatory. I don’t want to change my background to a dark background and I feel like there should be some way to get rid of the drop shadow that shows up on every apps name

Did you try to adjust the brightness of the color of your home screen in the settings for Locks creen and home screen?

I’m not seeing any shadow at all so I have no suggestions I’m afraid.

I had same issue. Awful look. I went in settings and searched “wallpaper”. In “wallpaper” I then selected background color to “white” versus the awful “natural”. Doing this removed the shadows.
