WiFi working but can’t connect

Hello. For some reason, my MacBook Pro can’t connect to the internet even though I have good WiFi service.

I tried following another person’s advice and deleted the list of services available, changed to local networks only and restarted my computer.

this is the message I get:

Connect to the internet with your Mac - Apple Support explains:


"Learn what to do if your Mac doesn't connect to the internet after joining the Wi-Fi network."


As it states, it might also help to simply restart your router. Try that first.
