Installed iOS 15.7 by mistake rather than 16. Now how do I get ios 16?

I missed the iOS 16 update option. Now I have 15.7 with no option to install 16. How do i update my iphone and ipad from 15.7 to 16 now?

iPad OS 16 isn’t released yet. On your iPhone if you go back to updates does it not show 16 as an option?

I have the same problem. Option for 16 does not appear, it just says “your iPad is up to date.” So frustrated!

iPad OS 16 has not been released.

Apple states it will be released in October.
