Block email sender on iMac

How do I block email sender on iMac. I've blocked senders but they still come to my junk mailbox

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

isn't there a way to block many email senders at once? I get multiple emails in my junk mailbox that are scams every day. I have made rules, but they don't seem to work This morning - as every morning I received multiple emails from icloud-storragee or very similar senders. I have attempted to do a rule, but it doesn't seem to put these directly in the trash. Is there a fast way to block senders with a "select all" or at least a shortcut?

is there a way to block email contacts in mail on my Mac by selecting all and issuing 1 block command? I receive about 20 phishing/spam emails per day. To identify them as blocked, I have to select each email one at a time. It would be a time saver to be able to select a group of them and mark as blocked.

Thanks. I've done that and it places them into Junk. However I was hoping it would stop me receiving them altogether,
