How to trim my voice recording

I cannot trim my voice recording the word "Trim" and " Delete" are in grey color

If you already tried (to no avail) the correct gestures provided in this support page:--> Edit or delete a recording in Voice Memos on iPhone, contact Apple Support directly, using this link:--> Get Support
