Your only option would be to have a travel device that accepts a physical SIM card, rely on Wi-Fi only connection and apps to communicate while in those countries….or get an international plan from your carrier when you travel (if they offer one). If your carrier does not offer one you can use the second eSIM with another carrier that does.

If you're in the US, you can only get an eSIM.

Ask your carrier about an international roaming eSIM or buy a phone in that country.
