Cannot Turn On Calls On Other Devices

I am under the impression that my FaceTime and iCloud on my IPhone and IPad „are signed in to the same Apple ID to enable Calls On Other Devices“, but continue getting the above error message when trying to Turn On Calls On Other Devices. Any suggestion how to make sure they are thus signed in?

Hello SebinParis,

We want to help get this working your iPad. If you haven't already make sure both devices are up-to-date.

Make and receive phone calls on iPad - Apple Support

We'll want you to make sure you use the same Apple ID for iMessage and FaceTime on both devices.

If you haven't already test with them to make sure you can send and receive iMessages.

Last follow the steps under "Allow phone calls on your iPad from your iPhone"

Contact Apple Support if this continues.

We hope this helps.

Cheers.
