My Mac password nor my AppleID password works to update my software on my new Mac

When I try to update the IOS on my MacBook Air (purchased 2022), it asks for a password. My Mac password nor my AppleID password work. What password is it looking for?

It requires the Owner Account Password of this computer which is normally the account used when the computer was first setup as new.


Should this computer has more than one Admin Account - suggest logging Out of the Added Admin Account and back into the Owner Admin Account.
