By purchasing an iPhone 14 Pro without choosing a carrier, does it comes with a SIM card tray? Is it possible to buy an iPhone 14 in the US with a SIM card tray? I know the iPhone 14 sold in other countries will include the SIM card tray, but I want to know if I can buy it in the US somehow.

The models sold in the US will not have a Sim card tray. Only digital eSim support.
Do you think that Apple will make SIM tray iPhone 14 Pro's available in the USA? I suspect that they will before the end of the year. If they manufacture them, why not make them available to everyone who wants them? Eventually SIM cards will be a thing of the past, however there are still people who would prefer the option while they remain.
Honestly hope they do, asap. Most countries don't support eSIM yet. Also most travelers get pre-paid SIM cards, which are not eSIM. Not having an SIM card tray is definitely going to make my life difficult, since I travel a lot and spend part of the year outside the US.

I think you are vastly overestimating how many US residents who travel internationally use pre-paid local SIM cards.
It is no longer expensive to get international roaming coverage from the major US carriers.

Unlikely.
I have never seen them make a model available in the US that is different to the one originally released.
It's highly unlikely a model with sim card support will ever appear in US stores.
Actually I didn't mean for sale in the US stores, but available for US citizens to purchase them online. I suspect that some people in other countries would prefer sim-less phones if they had access to a carrier with eSIMS. Surely those phones will be better at being waterproof.

They may appear in places like eBay, or even Amazon through third party sellers, but that would have nothing to do with Apple.
Apple is unlikely to ever sell an iPhone 14 with a sim tray through their Online Store in the US.
Online Apple stores for other countries will have iPhones with sim trays, but of course, shipping will be limited to within said countries.

You might be able to find one from another country on eBay. Online Apple Stores don’t ship internationally
