iphone 6 will not update
how do I update from iso 12.5.6?
Its saying i have the most recent version but apps will not download unless i have iso 15
The iPhone 6 is not compatible with iOS 13 or higher.

do you know why it won’t update to 13? I’ve 50gb of memory on phone.

Because it lacks the CPU and RAM to support iOS 13 or higher. Its a 8 year old device at this point.
