universal control keeps disconnecting macbook air m1 and mabcook pro m1 max after update 12.5.1 (21G83)

I have 2 macbooks, one air m1, one pro m1 max.

Before update to 12.5.1 (21G83) universal control worked fine. then one day after updae the pro, the air disconnected me daily 10+ times. I updated the air to the latest to be the same as the pro but this did not fixed anything.

Wifi works perfectly, same network. Bluetooth is on.

If I want them to reconnect fast, I have to go in macbook air Preferences -> Display -> universal control -> unckeck then check the first checkbox("allow your pointer and keyboard...").

After I do that in the next secoond I can use the second macbook pro.

Can you fix it????? it is really annoying

We understand you've been struggling with Universal Control on your MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. We'll do our best to assist with this.

If you haven't yet, it might be good to start out simple and restart both Macs from the Apple menu > Restart.

To isolate the behavior try out these steps:

Test booting and using the feature in safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
Test the issue in another user on your Mac. If needed, create an Administrator user, log in, and test it out: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac - Apple Support
Disable any firewalls, to test the issue. You'll locate this in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall.
Go to System Preferences > General > and disable 'Handoff' at the bottom. Then enable it again to test it out.

When performing the safe mode steps, use sections, 'If the issue continues in safe mode' and 'If the issue doesn't continue in safe mode', depending on your results there. If the issue doesn't happen in your other test user, then proceed below.
