Autofill

Since the last upgrade, forms on most sites are no longer accepting my autofill information when using iPhone, Notebook and iMac. The correct information is being entered by autofill,, but when I go to submit the form I get a response to fill in the form.

E.g., when I use auto fill to enter my email address on a form, I get the response to fill in my email address which I already have. Sometimes when I get this response, if I delete and reenter the last letter of the email address the form will recognize that I have entered my email address. The same lack of recognition happens when autofill enters my name and address. Is anyone else having this problem?

Below is one form that would not accept my autofilled email address. When I entered it from the autofill, the box became highlighted in yellow which is what would happen every time I used autofill that wasn't accepted. After filling in the entire form this time and hitting submit, it didn't go through; it indicated that the box for the email address hadn't been filled in.

Occasionally when this happened on a form, all I had to do is delete and replace the last letter in the mail address and it then would be recognized as having been entered. That would also clear up the yellow highlighting of the particular box. That didn't work in this case. I had to delete the entire address and type it out. Then the form accepted it.

This rejection of auto-filled info has happened on several occasion, i.e., for my name and address too. I don't remember all of the occurences so I just sent you the most recent one.

In each case when it occurred, the pertinent box was highlighted in yellow, and I needed to delete the autofilled info and type it back in. In a few cases, the form would accept the autofilled boxes, even when the info was highlighted in yellow. I hadn't paid attention to see whether a particular type of form or website was involved.

There you have it.
