My account on iMac is locked. How can I unlock it?

My account on iMac is locked (my child locked it accidentally). It doesn’t even offer „forgot password option“. It just says: „Your account is locked“. How can I unlock it?

If you can not unlock your account as per > If your Apple ID is locked or disabled - Apple Support

then you will need to contact Apple Support by going to > Apple Support
