Apple Music won’t Advance to next song automatically

I have been getting this problem lately, not for every song but like 3 in 10 songs won’t advance to the next song automatically, the bar is stuck at the end of the current song.

I do not have repeat the same song on, it just refuses to advance. It also doesn’t work if I press twice on my airpods 3 to ‘next’ song, only works when I press next song on the iphone screen. I only see this issue on the iphone and not on the macbook.

I am on iphone 12 pro, I am having this problem since at least 2 updates ago and I am currently on ios15.6.1

Hope it can be resolved soon, it is very annoying.
