New emails going straight into trash

Over the last 2 days all my incoming emails have gone straight into the trash folder. I have tried deleting my email account and reinstalling it but this hasn’t worked.

I have an iPhone 12 & this is on the email app. Any help would be appreciated as it’s really frustrating me!

If you've removed and then added the account again, the next thing we'd suggest is signing into the Outlook website to see if the behavior is present there. This will allow us to isolate the issue to the account or the device. If the issue is present when you sign in on the website, you will want to reach out to Microsoft support for further troubleshooting: Contact Us - Microsoft Support
