Hello bombidroid,

There isn't an option to reduce file a presentation file size in Keynote on iPadOS. As you mentioned, you can adjust the file size in macOS. Apple does appreciate all feedback regarding their products, services, features, and applications. If you would like to provide feedback about the Keynote application on your iPad, you can do so via the Product Feedback website.

Providing this feedback for review ensures that the proper individuals receive and review that feedback. As for converting a presentation to PDF, you can convert the presentation to the desired format using the steps listed below. These steps are specific to Keynote on iPhone and iPad. You can also find these steps in the following article.

"If you want to open a Keynote presentation in another app like Microsoft PowerPoint, use Keynote to convert the presentation to an appropriate format."

  1. "Open the presentation that you want to convert, then tap the More button .
  2. Tap Export.
  3. Choose a format for your presentation.
  4. Choose how you want to send your presentation, like with Mail or Messages."

Convert Keynote presentations to PDF, Microsoft PowerPoint, and more

Take care!
