iMac Quicktime Airplay to TV LG problem

Hi, it's not a major problem but I can't solve this puzzle:

from Quicktime Airplay (iMac latest model 24, latest Mac OS clean install) to LG TV NOT working.

Works with Safari or iTunes or any device (iphone & ipad)

BUT Quicktime Aiplay to ATV3 works !!

Quicktime Airplay to LG TV doesn't work, everything is set up

but playback does not advance and the black screen with Airplay settings appears on the TV screen.

I tried to unpair / reassociate LG TV with iMac it is like there is a block / firewall in Quicktime preventing playback to the TV ...is there some hidden Quicktime setting ?

Hey there Joni,

As there are no issues using AirPlay between your Mac and Apple TV, then you've already narrowed it down to your LG TV having the issue. While you may need to reach out to LG support in order to continue troubleshooting as it's narrowed down to your TV, we'd like to help rule out some possible causes:

Is your LG TV up to date? We do not have the steps, but you may need to reach out to LG to obtain the steps to check.
If you have a compatible Mac model, the latest version is macOS 12.5.1. You can verify this by clicking on the Apple logo at the top left corner of the screen, then on ‘About This Mac’. This link will show how to first back up, then Update macOS on Mac.
Has a restart of both your Mac and LG TV been tried?
Has AirPlay worked in the past with your Mac and LG TV, and if yes, when did this first start?

yes may be but to ATV3 there are no problems

As I said iTunes connects with the TV (music only) but no video can be streamed and even with video Clips from Apple Store

sometimes appears this error advice "The video is in a format that cannot be streamed to this TV."

but they works with ATV3 , so I think the error is due to limitations given to to LG Airplay by Apple for contents streamed by QuickTime , obviously if I select the LG TV as the airplay monitor it works without problems
