Battery draining overnight

Apologies if this problem has already been addressed. I searched the forum and wasn't able to find the discussion.

The battery on my MacBook Pro is draining overnight. The battery is 100% when I close the lid and at 0% in the morning. I unplug all external devices and close all programs at night. I checked the battery level for the last 24 hours and 10 days and the graph is blank. I see green on the chart from when I plugged in my MacBook at 11:30 this morning. I'm not sure if that is because the battery completely drained. The battery health shows normal.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you,

Ruth

Although not common, it may be possible that your notebook's battery is defective.

However, before "giving up" on this battery, let's double-check a few things first:

Apple does not consider a notebook's battery requires replacement unless it cannot maintain, at least, an 80% charge after 1000 full recharging cycles.

Thank you for your recommendations. I read through the Apple Support article you recommended. The only change I made to align with the recommendations in the article was to turn off Enable Power Nap while on battery power. Unfortunately there is no usage history for the last 24 hours or last 10 days, possibly because the battery totally drains at night. Battery health still indicates normal. I'll try the coconutBattery app to see if I can get more information on the battery. My mac is plugged in while I'm using it because I use an external monitor. Once it is fully charged, I will disconnect to see if how fast the battery drains. At night, the external monitor and external hard drives are all disconnected.
