Emailing documents

How can I email the flier/document/etc. I've constructed in Pages so that it opens directly rather than appearing as an icon?

Single-page PDFs and images attach in Apple Mail as visible content. Pages documents only attach as icons because they are actually zip containers.

Can't change format to pdf or docx when emailing from Pages since new update Since the latest update to pages whenever I click on share either from the dropdown menu or the menu bar it only lets me send a pages document by email. There is not an option to send a pdf or word doc like there used to be. Because I work with people without macs this is a real inconvenience. How do you email an attachment that is not I imbeded in the body of the document? How do you mail an attachment that is not imbedded in the document But must be downloaded as an attachment?
