Contact information lost

I am using iCloud to sync my contacts. Recently however, I find some contacts display anomaly on iPhone. Just as below:

However, the contacts can display and store on my mac and iCloud. I tried to restart sync on my iPhone and restore my contacts on iCloud, but didn't solve the problem. Wonder if cleaning my contact "cache" on iPhone can help?(But I don't know how to do it.)

My contacts keep disappearing Since the upgrade to iOS 16, I am repeatedly losing contacts from iCloud. I have to rebuild contact information from scratch as they have vanished. Iphone 11 losing contacts Hello, I am facing a problem with iPhone Contacts. Suddenly, some of the contacts I have are no longer found in the Contacts. The contacts lost are random, some are old registered contacts and others are newly registered contacts. At the time of loss of contacts and 2 weeks back, I haven't updated the iphone nor installed any new applications. This happened suddenly and without any action. I have tried the steps required to free some storage, update the IOS, uncheck short name in Contact, and restarting the phone. But still the contacts lost are still not displayed. Also logged into icloud to see if the contacts are still there, but did not find them. Appreciate your support on resolving the issue. Regards M

This gets us on the same page if you should perform the steps. There are more steps after you do this one we can try.
