How to turn off the automatic password on a MacBook Air M1 series
MacBook Air
Hello menary3,
Could you please confirm what you mean when you say the automatic password?
Are you referring to needing to input the password when waking your Mac from sleep? If so, these steps can help:
1) On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy , then click General.
2) Select “Require password… after sleep or screen saver begins.”
3) Click the pop-up menu and choose the time that passes before a password is required.
This article has some more info about that: Require a password after waking your Mac
Cheers!
Thank you for your answer, unfortunately the MacBook Air MI series have got slightly different symbols
Go to system prefs, touch the users/groups tab, select your login name, de select the automatic login.
