Hi, I used to use Siri when driving to aid hands-free driving, but Siri no longer responds when you use Google Maps.
I’ve checked all my settings and everything is turned on.
Is this a permanent update or a bug?

Did you try resetting your network settings? go to settings>general>reset>and reset your network settings. This affects how Siri works sometimes.
If the function returns when Google Maps is closed then I don't know what the reason is

Siri is designed only to navigate in Apple Maps. Did it ever do more than simply open Google Maps?
yea, I used to be able to say to my phone what using Google Maps “hey Siri, call Xxx” and he would reply. But now he doesn’t.
To clarify, I’m not asking about using Siri to navigate within the app.
