Is there a pencil that works with the IPad 9 th generation? Apparently 2nd generation pencil does not.

If within the return window allowed by the retailer where
you purchased your 2cd generation Apple pencil, return it
and purchase the correct Apple pencil.
From what source in what country did you purchase the
2cd generation Apple pencil? On what date?
Well dang. I wasted money on Gen 2. Thanks.
