I no longer seem able to search the iTunes store. There is supposed to be a panel on the top right of Music, giving the choice Apple Music-Your Library-iTunes Store. (Apple Music is turned off.) That panel is not there, and I seem to be able only to search Your Library. Do I need to enable the panel and, if so, how? I am using OS Monterey. Thanks!

Click on the back arrow on the top left corner (next to the search box, under the playback controls) to get back to where the search locations appear. You may need to click the arrow more than once to get the search locations to appear.

Start a search first. From the search results there should be an arrow at the top left:
I can't see that arrow. This is my Music window, with iTunes Store selected (though a track of mine is playing):
There is a white arrow in the album display banner at the top, but that just cycles through the albums. I can't see anything next to the search box, under the playback controls.
Thanks! It's amazing how it's not the big changes, but it's the small changes that come with system upgrades that cause the problems.
