Apple Maps are not giving direct routes on our iPhones.

apple maps are all screwy on all 5 of our phones , not giving direct routes??? Re-started phone, deleted app and reinstalled

direction services don't only go for the most direct route they take speed limits on various types of roads into the mix to find the router the service find fastest

I get that. But the maps have been all messed up since Saturday on all five of our phones adding like half hour to commute. We all had to download Waze. Something is definitely glitchy

then I don't know, it's not a general problem though I used maps with directions on Saturday in my country twice without it misbehaving, have an iphone11 with ios15.6.1
