Help! I think I have a virus

Hi i have a MacBook Pro Mid 2010 and I been having trouble with a virus or at least I think its a virus

well the problem is that sometimes my cursor moves spontaneously causes trouble clicking or going places and to be clear I don't even touch the trackpad when that happens formatting the machine will get rid off the problem or virus?
