iPhone 10 SIM card not recognized

I transferred my SIM card from an iPhone 8 to a 10 download all from iCloud- the phone works but says “There is No SIM Card Present “ What should I do?

See this and make sure the iPhone X isn't locked to a different carrier --> If you see 'invalid SIM' or 'no SIM' on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
