Sync reminders to calendar, so can complete?

If you use Google Tasks, you can set up recurring tasks that show up on Google Calendar for you to complete. I know I can drag and drop Reminders to iCal, but it appears only to copy as an event, not as a "to-do." Is there a way to do this, or do I need to go back to Google?

ConaBicycle,

If you use the Reminders app, you can definitely set up repeating reminders for "to-do" items. You could set up a reminder to pay a certain bill on a specific day and have that reminder repeat every month. Are you essentially hoping to utilize that type of feature but inside of the Calendar app instead?

This is definitely possible by setting up a repeating event, although there wouldn't be a way to necessarily mark it as "completed" as you would do in the Reminders app. This article has some more information: Add an event to a calendar on iCloud.com - Apple Support

Cheers.

Hello ConaBicycle,

Thanks so much for posting in Apple Support Communities. We'd like to help by getting you pointed in the right direction. You will want to reach out to Google for how to save to Calendar as a "to-do" and not an event.

While we don't have the resources for Google Calendar, you may find this helpful, Calendar User Guide for Mac - Apple Support.

Good luck!
