my iTunes purchase won't download.

When I go to my iTunes purchase, it says download but when I hit the button it won't do it.

The download arrow in the music app doesn't work either. I'm working off of a MacBook Pro and trying to add music to an iMovie production.

Suggestions?

Download icon missing I have gone into the iTunes Store and can see my purchases. However I cannot redownload any of the songs as the download button does not appear. Also, when I click on the song to play it, it cannot find it and when I search my computer, it is not found. Any idea how to get the download icon back? This is on a MacBook Air and the Apple Music app.

Automatic Downloads Option Not Showing in Music App on Mac Fellow Apple Users, The Automatic Downloads option is not showing when following the steps from here: Buy or download music from the iTunes Store in Music on Mac - Apple Tugi (EE) In the Music app on your Mac, make sure you authorized your computer to play iTunes Store purchases. See the Apple Support article Authorize or deauthorize your computer for iTunes Store purchases. Choose Music > Settings, click General, then select Automatic Downloads. I was on macOS 13 Ventura, so I upgraded to 14 Sonoma, and issue persists. I found some older threads with users having this same issue, but no resolution. If anyone is having this issue please click Me Too below, so we can hopefully get this issue fixed. Thank you!

Apple Music for Mac 1.2.4.3 - Cannot Download iTunes Purchases, Automatic Downloads Missing Apple Music on my MacBook recently lost the ability to download purchases from iTunes. On the iTunes panel, the the albums I have bought appear as "purchased" but they are not in my Library and there is no button to download them. Selecting Account->Check for Available Downloads returns "there are no downloads available". Perhaps strangest of all, the Preferences panel no longer has a check box for Automatic Downloads - see screenshot. I'm running Monterey 12.4. Can anyone help???

Also, be sure you've authorized your Mac to play your purchases.
