Audio Sharing Issue

I connected my iPad to MacBook Air by cable. And I’m not able to share audio to my MacBook Air while connecting Headphones to my IPad 9Gen. Both are not working simultaneously . If I connect my headphone to IPad , then I’m not getting IPad audio at MacBook . How can I solve this issue.

Hello, LikithLikiii.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

To confirm, are you trying to stream audio to your MacBook Air or from it? If you're trying to use your MacBook as an audio source, then the headphones need to be connected to the MacBook Air and not the iPad: Wirelessly stream video, photos, and audio from your iPad to a Mac - Apple Support

"Play audio from iPad on Mac

  1. On your iPad, open an audio app, such as Podcasts  or Music , then choose an item to play.
  2. Tap the Playback Destination button, then choose a playback destination.
  3. The Now Playing controls for Music. The Playback Destination button appears on the right.

To select the playback destination, you can also tap the Playback Destination button on the Lock Screen or in Control Center."

If this isn't the case, let us know in more detail about this set up.

Cheers!
