iPhone 13 Pro portrait mode stuck on 3x, regular camera won’t zoom out, cinematic video won’t work

Hello Ersulli, In Portrait mode what happens when you press the 3x icon on the left side of screen? Does it change to 1x ? On Photo settings do you have the option of 0.5x 1x or 3x ? I have never seen the 2x option on my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Hello, Ersulli, It is the ZOOM pinch feature on iPhone models with Dual and Triple camera systems. In Photo mode with your thumb and index finger pinch the screen in and out and you will see the middle Lens numbers adjust. In the Portrait mode you have 1x and 3x options and the different light option that you can choose from by pressing the light wheel. In Portrait mode I don't recall any other zoom features than the 1x and 3x options. Play with the ZOOM Pinch feature in the different modes. I don't think it works in the CINEMATIC and PANO modes. If you still feel your camera is not working as should be after the update to IOS 15.6.1 I would give Apple Support a Call. Contact - Official Apple Support. Hope this help.
