i have recently upgraded from an iphone 6 to a iphone 12 but games on my 6 havent tranferd to my 12 any ideas ?

syncing games between iPad and iphone I have an iPad prep 4th generation with iOS 15.4.1 and an iPhone 12 Pro Max with iOS 15.6.1. I often download games and start playing them on my iPhone. But then I want to play them on my iPad and pick up where I left off in the game. However every time I go to play it on the iPad I have to start over or leave off where I was the last time I played it on the iPad. In other words it doesn’t seem to sync between iPhone and iPad. My game center toggle is on. My iCloud is on and I have 2 GB. One person said I have to wait till it syncs when it’s not in use and plugged in and hooked up to Wi-Fi but it does not do this in real time. So for example this morning I started a game on my iPhone. But the graphics were really beautiful so I wanted to move to iPad. However although the game had download it on both platforms I would have had to start over on the iPad. What do I have to do to get them to sync so I could go back and forth and pick up where I left off on either platform.

if they have since been removed from app store they will not transfer

otherwise click app store app click your portrait in the upper right corner -> purchased->my purchases->not on this iphone

they should show up there
