Unable to add my AOL account to Apple Mail.

I have used Apple Mail on my 2007 iMac (OS 10.11.6) for several years but a recent issue requiring me to replace the logicboard left Apple Mail asking for my password. I am one of the many who migrated my Verizon mail to AOL and had no real issues afterward. I have followed the Apple and AOL helps to the letter but Mail will simply not accept my password in order to add the AOL account to Apple Mail. I have been using the browser for access to my AOL account but Apple Mail is better suited to my needs.

Can ANYONE guide me through the magical process of getting my AOL mail to work on Apple Mail again? Many thanks!
