Can’t fast forward when I’m using airplay

Thanks for posting in Apple Communities.

We understand you can't fast forward when using AirPlay. What does are you sending the content to by AirPlay? Make sure both your iPhone and the receiving device are running the last software version and both have been restarted.

Try to AirPlay other content to see whether this behavior only affects the current content.

This just started for me as well. I’ve been using my iPhone to stream podcasts on my tv and the podcast use to start on the TV from the same spot I was currently at while watching on my iPhone. Now, every podcast I try to continue on the TV it will start from the beginning and it will not let me fast forward to the spot I was at. It will continue to reset to the beginning.
