No Service after IOS15.6.1

Everything was fine with the Iphone 8 until we upgraded to IOS 15.6.1. Once the update completed, the phone displayed NO SERVICE. We confirmed with the carrier, Consumer Cellular, that the issue is with the phone. Does anyone else have this issue? We tried several fixes but nothing worked, short of resetting the phone.
