Spam/Phishing

I opened what I thought was an email from a friend. The content was brief but looked legitimate, so I clicked on the link. I scrolled for a few seconds & realized this was WRONG. I closed that tab, put the email in my Spam box and closed email. What should I be concerned about? Action to take moving forward (besides looking at my sender’s email address every time!)? Is my computer in danger of … anything malicious?

It is suggested, download directly from the Developer , the application Malwarebytes for Mac

It is free or paid for added features.

Run the Application and it should remove the malware / adware.

Once done, restart computer and test.
