"Sticky questions"? "Thread pages"?

Ah, I gotcha. "Sticky question" simply means that the question remains visible even when scrolling through the page. For example, the highlighted item in the screenshot below is the "sticky question"-

Here at ASC, no post is sticky- every question is sorted by the time is was posted, and then moves down the list as newer questions accumulate (unless or until somebody replies to it, at which point it moves back up). Certain replies in-question may be "sticky" if marked 'Helpful' or 'Solved' by the original poster, or recommended by Apple. This, however, does not affect the way the question appears in the forum community pages. They still move down the list normally.

As for thread view, it simply changes how you view replies. A flat view keeps all replies in the same order they were posted, while a threaded view allows replies to a specific post to be listed first under that post.

The Fitbit forums have “sticky” questions/answers where a post “sticks” to the top of a thread. I’ve not seen these in the Apple Community Forums. However … there are times when Apple will recommend an answer. It becomes “sticky” in it’s own way. It will always display right under the original question as the Apple suggested response.

As for thread pages, these are pages of responses to an original poster’s question. Apple encourages users to start a new thread if they cannot find an answer to their question in another thread. This allows for better organization.

See an example below of threads under the topic, “Using iPhone.” Notice the yellow stars and green check marks. These are examples of threads that have specific answers that stay at the top, directly under the original question.

We don't have "sticky questions" here at ASC. All asked questions move down the line until they're answered, when they move back up. This right here is a "thread page"- simply a page with a question and answers.
