I bought my iMac back in May 2021 and my puppy decided to chew the power adapter (the magnetic portion that goes into the block). Problem is, I can't find a replacement anywhere and the folks I've talked to at Apple can't seem to help me. Has anyone had to replace theirs? I have no idea how I am going to get power back to my computer.

Update: after multiple calls to Apple today, I think they ordered me the correct part (#661-18536). I had to speak with Apple Care since the part isn’t stocked on the website. Cost was 109 plus tax and shipping. And I have to send back my old power cord which is weird. Glad I don’t have to make the drive to the Genius Bar though.

There are no cables (cords) listed which fit the M1 iMac, also the M1 iMac doesn’t have batteries so it doesn’t have a charger, it does have a power pack with or without an Ethernet port and this connects to the M1 iMac with a MagSafe connector.

You may need to buy the entire device ... charger plus cable. I didn't look to see if that sell the cable separately.
If puppy chewed the Mac's port itself, that's a trip to the Apple store for repairs.
Thanks for the reply. I made an appointment with Genius Bar. Hopefully they can help me. I’ll post my resolution (once I get one) on here to maybe help others in this situation.
This question has arisen before without a positive answer. An internet search failed to find a replacement neither from Apple Store nor third party vendors. Other than raising this with Apple support I can’t think of a solution.
