I want to transfer phone to new owner. I want to erase all data, identification, apple id on old phone ....BUT NOT THE NEW PHONE.
As it stands, changes on either phone show up on both (like sharing location). Spooky action at a distance?

On the phone going to the new owner go to Settings > your name > Sign Out and sign it off Find My, AppStore and iCloud.
Then go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
